Leadership & Involvement
I have always wanted to get as much as possible out of my time at Ohio University. Building engineering experience is extremely important to me, but I also want to stay involved in the parts of campus life that keep me creative and connected to other people. Balancing classes with leadership roles can be challenging, but it has pushed me to become more responsible and dependable.
Ohio University Learning Communities

Leading first-year engineering students by assisting in teaching their Learning Community class and supporting their understanding of coursework through facilitating study sessions for their exams.

Organizing regular social events and one-on-one mentoring sessions to foster a sense of community, helping students build connections and ensuring a smooth transition to college life.

Worked with the Ohio University Director of Electrical Engineering to create a plan for each class.
Learning Community Leader
Dynamics A Cappella
MUSIC DIRECTOR & VICE PRESIDENT
- Practice twice a week to improve singing and prepare for performances and the ICCA competition.
- Sing at campus events and attend an annual week-long retreat to bond with members and work on group skills.
- Arrange music, lead rehearsals and sectionals, direct the ensemble in performances, and prepare the group for the ICCA's.
Tau Beta Pi Honor Society
- Selected for membership in Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society, as a top 1/8th GPA performer in Ohio University's School of Engineering.
- Voted in as treasurer with responsibilities such as the Ohio chapter's funds.
- Selected to attend the National Convention as Ohio University's voting delegate.

Digital Engineering Collaborative
TREASURER & project lead
- Manage finances and support students interested in Digital Engineering Collaborative research.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary animatronics projects.
- Will serve as project lead for an upcoming WALL-E animatronic research project incorporating flextronics.
IEEE Organization
- Participate in meetings, study sessions, and social events.
- Collaborate with IEEE members to provide study sessions for students in my Learning Community.

- Dedicate significant time to rehearsals, build days, and performances, portraying roles such as Miss Lynch in Grease, Rhonda in Almost, Maine, and Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown.
- Attended weekly meetings and met company requirements such as attending build days, fundraising events, and other company shows to support the organization.

Through the Honors Program, I have expanded my education beyond the classroom through leadership, community engagement, and research focused experiences.
Theta Tau Rho Beta
As a member of Ohio University’s professional engineering fraternity, I participate in chapter activities, professional development, and service projects such as community cleanups.
Robe Leadership Institute
Selected and participated in the Robe Leadership Institute, where I learned from engineering professionals and explored different approaches to leadership. I remain a member of the institute and its leadership community.
Community Engagement
Dedicated Volunteer. Collaborative efforts with Habitat for Humanity, Camp Joy, and Russ College Clean-Up.
